Lauren Levering

Perhaps one of the greatest inspirations for my artwork are the creatures that live in the environment around me – the people and animals of this world. I often make the connection between humans and animals because of their vast number of similarities. Animals feel and think and thrive in a similar way to how humans do. Humans, often times, will also show a more animalistic and survival-based side to them and I like to push the limits and really question what it is that makes us, human beings, so different from our animal counterparts.
